My First Time-Contact Lens

Finally...finally...finally~~~
I've been wanting contacts for like years....

Okay I've just had specs for 4 years...and though clear vision is like a godsend, I spend most of my time hating them....haha.
I just don't look good with them. Honestly. Some people might look better, but not for me.

Hence most photos without them.

Seen friends with contacts since Form2...>< But parents told me that I'm still small...can't take care of contacts properly...blah blah blah. =.= The usual stuff.

Definition of teenager: Someone with the burden and responsibilities of an adult and the rights of a kid.

It was absolutely maddening. Especially during choir performances. Makeup is required...and makeup don't go well with specs...so I was very blur on stage...

But what to do....not "big" enough...haha.

Yesterday I had dinner at Traders Hotel...with mom...invited by Equator Academy of Art...
FYI they invited the principal and counsellor, but my school counsellor couldn't go...so I went :P

Before going there Mom went to have an eye check...she suspected that she's having some far-sightedness liao... turns out wasn't far-sightedness issue...her left eye's failing...the eye that is used to see near things...

(Her eyes kinda complicated...right is for far sight, left is for near sight.)
Due to the failure of left eye, therefore cannot see near things clearly. Guess what, she used all the equipments in the check-up room...lol...

Then it was my turn...
My current vision: 20/550
According to WHO....I'm blind...haha...
Very very blind.

Anyway.
So um then the opt. and mom somehow got onto contacts topic, and my opt. really persuaded my mom to let me try contacts (thank you thank you thank you!!! :D)

Ran through some eye exams...all pass with flying colours....XD
And got fitted a sample lens...do you know how many times the opt tried to put into my eye???

3 times.
THREE looong times when my eye keep blinking and struggling to CLOSE.
Honestly. I was so terrified.
But then my fear of never getting contacts is WAY tougher, so~
You know~

I love love love it...!!!

It felt a little itchy when the lens touch my eye, but when it settled into place there is just a slight feeling...
Kinda wettish feeling..but okay~

My trial contacts is gonna come on Thursday~~
