Hello! My name is Michelle and thank you for stopping by! 

My real name is Michelle Tuan and xyuenx is my pseudonym on this blog. It's derived from my chinese name and inflected with an "x" in front and behind the name. It's just something that I thought up when I first started this blog! 

This is a random blog so if you're not a personal friend you're likely to end up here on some random past post, and it's usually a lot of rambling about my life so I don't think it's particularly helpful...
I'm 20 this year, my birthday's in July and I'm from Penang, which is a small island in Malaysia. I'm now living in Edinburgh for 4 years doing my undergraduate degree in double majors Psychology and Linguistics, with a Japanese minor. 

I love doing many things, but mostly cosplaying, playing games, watching anime and blogging. I play Dota 2, Chain Chronicle, Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage, SAO: Hollow Fragment, SAO: Lost Song, Vanguard, Weiss Schwarz, Maimai and Jubeat Plus. I used to play Persona 3 and 4, LoveLive SIF and Puzzle & Dragons (but has now quitted). Favourite animes are Code Geass, Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Zero, Steins;Gate. I dislike sports but I'd like to try horse riding one day. I love travelling, taking pictures, and singing. 

I love reading too, mainly Wikipedia (chain-clicking anyone?), crime stories (true and fiction alike), fantasy, dystopian fiction. Harry Potter is a favourite, and I like Stephen King, Kane Chronicles. Book reviews HERE. I have a perverse inclination to read sadistic stuff and enjoy dark humour but on the other hand I like cotton candy, everything pink, and cats. 

My personality type is INFJ in the Myers-Briggs Test Instrument, and 4w5 in the Enneagram. They describe me pretty well personally especially when read together. I'm rather individualistic (more so nowadays) and I prefer being alone rather than being with someone I'm uncomfortable with. 

I'm in a relationship with someone who is perfect in every way and I think the world of him :D
He makes my day better by just being there for me even though it's a long-distance relationship. I'm honestly very lucky to know him and have him in my life, and I love everything about him.
