Book Review: Beautiful Chaos

Note: I ABSOLUTELY HATE the ending of this book!!!

Beautiful Chaos is the third book in the Caster Chronicles by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. It continues where Beautiful Darkness left off. If you haven't read that, there are some spoilers below, so beware. I'll try not to give away much though.

Lena and Ethan became a couple again after successfully ending (not winning) the battle in Beautiful Darkness. Though so, the Order was broken because Lena claimed Light and Dark instead of choosing only one. (The Order must be balanced all the time). Ethan on the other hand was also changing, and the sudden strange changes in his life disturbed him so much to the point that he tried to find out what was wrong. He later found out the reason
for the changes in him, but had no idea how to stop it.

Ethan and Lena tried to do everything to save Gatlin from plunging into the chaos brought on by the broken Order. They found that the "One Who is Two" have to be sacrificed so that the Order can be balanced again. Although the main idea was that that person was Lena (who is both Light and Dark), she was not the person as she had to bind the New Order after the sacrifice. The story continues here....

Overall this is a very heartfelt part of the whole four-book story, and (I cried). I was so mad at the ending that I went online just to find out the proof that there IS a fourth (and last) book to right this wrong ending. (And I was so ecstatic!) I love this book, and although I hate the end of it, the style of writing, of describing is so good that nothing else matters. LOL. Will definitely pick up Beautiful Redemption, the finale of the story.
