We've all had that feeling of stagnation, of nothing moving forward, of an uninteresting staleness that creeps upon us when things no longer have a reason to live on.
This is how I feel with blogging on this blog.
Don't get me wrong - I still love writing, and it has become a habit in my life to write. However, I've had this blog for around 7 years now, writing frequently at times and not so much at others, and it doesn't help that I don't exactly have a theme to write around on. It started off as a diary style blog with many highly personal posts, then a more tutorial-style one with personal parts writing about experiences, opinions and feelings.
And now I have ceased to write so much because it just feels really weird having all those personal posts from long ago and now I don't know what to write because nothing feels right.
Everything just feels really jumbled up.
And I don't like it at all.
So I've made a decision to move out from here and into a new space. Like I said, writing will never leave me. I find solace in writing, and it will always have a special place in my heart. To keep myself active at it despite having many other hobbies I've decided not to quit blogging altogether.
:)
I've decided to leave this all behind, all the sad stories and happy memories over these seven years. Honestly, I can't believe how many things I've gone through until I read what I wrote, and it makes me feel blessed that I've come quite far from where I started. It also makes me believe that anything can be overcome and forgotten. Love, friendships...often they expire when we never thought they would and the only way is to let them go and cherish only the memories they leave behind.
I've enjoyed designing it, I've loved pouring out my feelings, and I've spent many days here writing about so many experiences and drafting posts that never got published.
But it's time for me to say goodbye because I don't want to delete all the history, but not deleting them limits my growth and my interest in posting further.
So I'll be moving to a new website (I'll post up the address in the last post here when I'm done setting it up). I'll still keep this blog open for some time since there are probably some tutorials floating around here that people still find it useful. If you've been following me all these while, you're more than welcome to follow me at my new site. If not, I'm glad that you've been here and thank you for reading all the weird shit I write.
